A solid wood cutting board is the best possible board for cooking. It is proven to kill bacteria, is resistant to use and plastic can't enter the food. A wooden cutting board also keeps knives sharp. If necessary, you can lightly sand the surface of the cutting board and resurface it with paraffin oil. We recommend treating your cutting board 4-6 times a year, depending on the amount of use. The cutting board is not machine washable and should be washed with a mild detergent whenever necessary and dried in an upright position. Paraffin oil is available, for example, from a hardware store.
