The beautiful and high-quality Konto chair is a versatile item. It can be combined to form a shelf, used as a seat, to store firewood or as a nightstand

The Konto Chair is made out of Finnish certified birch veneer. It has been treated with natural products. The finishing treatment is also done by hand in Finland. Designed and manufactured in Finland.

The veneer has been treated with Osmo Color product which provides a natural and environmentally friendly way of protecting the wood. It’s made out of quickly renewing vegetarian products that protect the wood inside out.

Ohto Nordic Home wanted to create a completely different collection of furnishing that combines a courageous way of creating Finnish design, quality, and nature in an aesthetic combo.

For a lot of people, and to Ohto Nordic Home, Finnish nature and Finnish culture are very important. Every product is designed and manufactured in Finland by hand. We want to use natural materials but consume natural resources as little as possible. In our opinion, it’s every business's responsibility to bring environmentally sustainable options to the marketplace. All of our wooden products are manufactured out of Finnish birch.

Environmental friendliness can be seen not only in Ohto Nordic Home furniture. It’s also present in our everyday life. In our offices, we only use green electricity and we recycle. In our shipments, we only use cardboard and paper, not plastic. We also do not use materials of animal origin like leather or wool in our products.
