Birch paintings are designed by Anu Rajaniemi, who loves birch forests. Anu spends a lot of time in the forest and draws new ideas for her paintings from there. The starting point has been to bring nature into interior design in an ecological and sustainable way - now also in paintings. Sustainable materials ensure that the paintings stand the test of time and can be passed on from one generation to the next. The birchy paintings are born out of passion for sustainable design and handicraft. We hope that our paintings also convey respect for nature.
Manufacturing
We design and manufacture domestic interior paintings that can stand the test of time. Our company values are based on an ecological production process, sustainability and ethics. The manufacturing of the paintings focuses on minimal material waste, and the size of the boards, for example, is calculated so that there is no waste at all. The birch pattern on the surface of the board is cut from high quality birch plywood by using ecological pure water cutting technology in Kemi. Paintings are assembled and finished by hand in Simo. It is important to us that our production chain is transparent and we can guarantee quality at all stages of production. After carefully planned product development, we have released three board designs: deer, boho skew and bending forest - available in a variety of earthy colours.
In manufacturing, it is important to us that the product is responsibly designed, natural materials are favoured in the manufacturing process and the production process is locally executed.
