Made by Varax, the Butterfly chair features soft and round shapes. It’s a design product from the 1950's and a true classic. The Butterfly chair combines beautifully bent metal with leather or canvas. The chair is a stylish, classic and light piece that fits every space. Made in Ähtävä, Finland, the chair is available in lots of different colors.

The Butterfly chair is made in Ähtävä, Finland out of high-quality powder-coated steel pipe, so it’s a durable choice for indoors and outdoors. The chair is a good fit for terraces and summer cottages. Thanks to its light but sturdy structure, the chair is easy to move around. For the seating part, you can choose between lots of different fabrics and leatherettes. The leatherette chairs are only suitable for indoor use.

The chair is shipped in pieces but it’s easy to assemble. You can disassemble the product to store it in a very small space. The fabric is 100% polyester that’s been treated with Teflon to repel water and dirt. The fabric is also a UV-proof and repels mold. The fabric can be washed in 40°C if needed. The Teflon treatment is in accordance with Öko-Tex standard 100 so it doesn’t have any harmful chemicals. The chair should not be stored outdoors or in wet spaces.
