QUU Design

‘I am Heli Mäkiranta, a designer and interior designer from QUU Design in Muurame.

I have always been very fascinated by light and lighting. Already during my studies, I developed different lighting designs and dreamed of my own lighting collection.

In 2014 I founded my own DesignStudio. In the beginning I focused on interior design until I got the opportunity to design my own lighting model. After the launch, I noticed interest in my lighting, and it gave me the courage to create the QUU Design brand and launch my own lighting collection.

I get a lot of inspiration from nature as I live surrounded by forests and lakes. As a designer, I want to create products that are timeless, of high quality and make your everyday life more beautiful’.
