Paistokas Stone Plate
The Paistokas is a soapstone plate that comes with a cork base. With Paistokas, you can add variety to your cooking and theatricality to your serving. By heating a soapstone plate in the oven and then placing the plate on the cork base. You can even cook a steak on the Paistokas. This allows for careful cooking, as the stone cooks at its own temperature and there is no need to have a heat source underneath it, such as when cooking meat, which could cause the steak to cook unevenly.
