Woodio

Woodio is an innovative, Finnish, design-oriented materials technology company. The material developed by Woodio is the world's first fully water-resistant solid wood composite made of wood pulp. Woodio's clean-lined bathroom design solutions showcase the unique wood material, beautifully adapting its naturalness.

Woodio's dream is to make bathrooms more ecological and interesting with its new kind of material. Woodio's manufacturing process is as low-emission as possible. Compared to traditional porcelain furnishings, Woodio's wood composite manufacturing does not burden the environment with high combustion temperatures and uses renewable wood pulp as a material. All Woodio products can be disposed of as energy waste once they have reached the end of their life cycle.

All Woodio products are designed and manufactured in the company's own factory in Konala, Helsinki. The main raw material comes from Northern wood produced in the local area. The products have been awarded the Key Flag symbol and Design from Finland mark. Woodio has also been awarded the Design Act of the Year award in autumn 2019 by the Association for Finnish Work.

Maintenance

Maintenance free. If necessary, you can clean the sink with a damp soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive washing-up liquid or soap. All Woodio products are recyclable as energy waste when they reach the end of their lifetime.
