Carafina Carafe

The Carafina carafe is a simply beautiful decanter for serving both wine and water. It keeps your drink cool and perfectly tempers your red wine. Thanks to its rough but modern style, the carafe is suitable for use in the home, terrace or holiday home. Keep the stone in the freezer for a couple of hours before using it and then take it out to decorate the table. Pour the cooled drink into the carafe and place it on a stone. Soapstone effectively retains cold and keeps your drink cool for a long time. Try serving water or other drinks with Carafina.

Place a cold stone on the table and pour room temperature (22-24ºC) wine into the carafe, then place the carafe on the stone. After 15-20 minutes, the red wine is about 18°C and ready to serve. Carefully wash the carafe by hand after use. The stone part can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher if necessary.

Care instructions:

• Before use
  
  • Rinse the dust off the stone surface thoroughly with water. You can also wash the stone in the dishwasher. Allow the product to dry. If you wish, lightly oil the stone with cooking oil. Oiling darkens the surface of the stone, protects it and brings out the colour variations beautifully.
• Use of soapstone product
  
  • The product can be used as it is. It is at its best when heated or cooled. You can heat the stone in an oven or with warm water. Never heat the stone on the stove, other hot surfaces or in the microwave! Keep the stone in the freezer for at least a couple of hours before using it. The stone can be stored in the freezer between uses.
• Treatment of a soapstone product
  
  • You can wash the stone like other dishes, such as in a dishwasher. Allow the stone to dry completely before using it again.
